Funeral home burglarized,
LPD looking for suspects
Laurel police are seeking the public’s help to find suspects who stole several items from a local funeral home.
On Sunday just after 4:30 p.m., officers were called to Chapel of Angels Funeral Home on MLK Boulevard after it was discovered that many of the business’ belongings were missing. Among the items that were taken were a white 6x12 enclosed trailer, two metal frames, a tent top, 12 folding chairs with green covers, a lowering device and several assorted tools. Some of the items are marked with the Chapel of Angels name on them.
Anyone with information about a suspect or the location of any of the stolen items is asked to call the Laurel Police Department at (601) 435-4711 or Crime Stoppers at (601) 428-STOP.
